Our trip was before the COVID.
뮨헨에서 보내는 첫날 이군요. 머무른 호텔이 중앙 기차역 건너편이었지만 걱정했던 것보다 거리는 조용했고 평화롭군요.
Today is our first whole day in Munich. Even though our hotel was located across from the main train station, the street in the morning was quite and peaceful.

아침을 먹은 빵집 이름을 잊어버렸지만 맛있게 먹었다는 생각만 나네요.
We forgot to write down the name of deli where we had breakfast, but the food was good.

Neuschwanstein castle/Hohenschwangau Castle (노이 슈반 슈타인 성/호엔 슈 반가우 성)
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm (from April to mid October) and from 9 am to 3 pm (from mid October to March)
시간: 오전 8시 - 5시 (4월 - 10월 중순), 9시 - 3시 (10월 중순 - 3월)
저희들이 들린 때가 11월 초라 성 내 구경표를 미리 예약을 안했는데 큰 잘못 이었습니다. 표를 사느라고 1 시간 가량 기다리고 표에 찍힌 정해진 시간에만 입장을 허락하기 때문에 또 몇 시간 기다리고… 성 안 투어를 하실 생각이면 꼭 미리 예약하세요.
Since our visit was in early November, we did not reserve the castle tour ticket ahead. It was a mistake. You may not only wait to purchase tickets, but also wait for the late tour time since it is timed entrance to the castle. You should book the tickets in advance if you want to tour inside the castle.
투어 전후에 식사를 할 수 있는 식당들과 상점들이 마을에 있지만 다른 관광지 처럼 음식이나 물건들이 품질에 비해 가격이 비싼 편입니다. 점심이나 간식을 준비해서 호수가에서 피크닉을 즐겨도 될 듯 합니다.
There are many restaurants in the town to grab a meal before or after the tour. In my experience, many of them are overpriced for the quality as any other tourist places. You may bring lunch or snacks and enjoy it by the lake.

성안 관람 시간을 기다리는 동안 호엔 슈 반가우 성 밑에 있는 식당 Josy's 에서 점심을 먹었습니다. 식당은 관광객들로 매우 분주했지만 오래 기다리지 않고 자리를 잡을 수 있었습니다 (꽉 끼어 앉기는 했지만). 종업원들 수가 부족한 것 같았지만 저희 담당 종업원은 꽤 잘 했습니다. 헝가리식 굴라시 (16.50 유로), 프렌치 프라이 (4.90 유로), Josy's 샐러드 (14.00 유로)와 L'altra 피짜 (22.90 유로)를 주문했습니다. 예상했던 데로 가격은 좀 비싼 편이었지만 음식은 괜찮았습니다.
While waiting our time for castle tour, we had the lunch at Josy's. It was very busy with many tourists, but we were able to get a table without too long a wait (even though we had to squeeze in ourselves). The wait staff was short handed, our server was efficient. We have tried Beef goulash Hungarian style (€ 16,50) French fries (€ 4,90), Josy's salad plater (€ 14,00) and L'altra pizza (€ 22,90). As expected, the food was pricy, but the dishes we ordered were more than decent.
Hohenschwangau Castle/호엔 슈 반가우 성
호엔 슈 반가우 성은 노이 슈반 슈타인 성 건너편에 위치한 19 세기 궁전입니다. 이 성은 루드비히 2 세 왕의 어린 시절 거주지였으며 그의 아버지 인 바이에른의 막시밀리안 2 세에 의해 지어졌고 왕실의 여름 주거지 였습니다.
Hohenschwangau Castle is a 19th-century palace located across from Neuschwanstein castle. It was the childhood residence of King Ludwig II of Bavaria and was built by his father, King Maximilian II of Bavaria and was the summer residence of the royal family.
성안 구경은 안하였는데 정원은 생각보다 작았지만 매우 아름다웠고 관광객들이 많았지만 꽤 평안한 기분을 주었습니다.
We skipped the tour, but the garden was small, but very beautiful and peaceful even with many visitors.
There are several ways to get to the castle from the ticket office: on foot (30 minutes uphill), taking a carriage (€ 7,00 uphill, € 3,50 downhill) or bus (to Marienbruecke terminal) We took the carriage to the castle and walked down.

시간이 되면 노이 슈반 슈타인 전망을 완벽하게 볼 수 있도록 설계되었고 철강으로 다시 개조 된 Marienbruecke (Mary 's Bridge) 이라고 불리는 현수교에 들리세요.
If you have time, visit the suspension bridge, Marienbruecke (Mary’s Bridge), which has been re-cast in metal. You may have the perfect view of Neuschwanstein.

독일 알프스에 감춰져 있는 이 노이 슈반 슈타인 성을 모델로하여 월트 디즈니가 디즈니 랜드에있는 잠자는 숲속의 미녀 성을 지었습니다. 이 성은 원래 "동화 속의 왕"으로 알려진 바이에른의 루드비히 2 세 왕이 지었습니다. 왕은 몽상가이자 창의적이었고 그는 자신이 좋아하는 예술과 시를 기리기 위해 성을 지었습니다. 성안의 각 벽들은 모두 각각 다른 이야기를 전하고 있습니다. 루드비히 왕이 그의 환상적인 프로젝트를 완성하기 전에 죽은 후 성의 2 층은 아직도 비어있습니다.
성의 반 이상이 완성되지 않았기 때문에 내부 투어는 짧았습니다. 유럽의 많은 성들을 구경한 후라 그런지 이 성의 내부 구경이 값어치가 있는지 모르겠네요. 우리는 성 안을 둘러 보는 것보다 밖에서 보는 경치가 더 좋았습니다. 노이 슈반 슈타인의 내부 안뜰은 디즈니 성에서 보는 듯 합니다. 특히 두 포탑 사이에있는 중세기 기사와 용의 그림들이 더욱 그런 분위기를 주네요. 성안에서 사진 찍는 것이 불가입니다.
The castle tucked away in the German Alps inspired Walt Disney to model his Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland after it. The castle was originally built for King Ludwig II of Bavaria, who was known as the "Fairy Tale King." He was a dreamer and a creative and built the castle as a tribute to his favorite pieces of art and poetry. Every wall of the castle tells a story. The second floor of the castle remained empty after Ludwig's death because he was not able to complete his dream project.
The castle tour was very short since more than half of the interior wasn’t finished. I am not sure whether it was worth it, especially after visiting a number of other palaces in Europe. The view from the outside was a lot better than the tour inside the castle. The internal courtyard of Neuschwanstein looks like something from Disney. Note the stylised paintings of knights and dragons between the two turrets. Note that the photography is not allowed inside of castle.
독일 치즈 볼 튀김은 Quarkbällchen으로 알려진 전통적인 독일 간식이며 도넛과 비슷한데 속은 부드럽습니다. 성을 구경하고 내려오면서 간식으로 맛있게 먹었네요.
저녁 식사한 곳의 식당 이름등 적어 놓은 노트를 잃어 버렸네요. 접시 몇 개는 기억하는데...

독일 치즈 볼 튀김은 Quarkbällchen으로 알려진 전통적인 독일 간식이며 도넛과 비슷한데 속은 부드럽습니다. 성을 구경하고 내려오면서 간식으로 맛있게 먹었네요.
German fried cheese balls known as Quarkbällchen is a traditional German snack similar to donut. The texture inside is so fluffy and soft. It was a perfect snack after spending time at the castle.
저녁에 내려오는 길에서 찍은 노이 슈반 슈타인 성과 호엔 슈 반가우 성. 두 성이 무척 대조적이네요.
