오늘은 마리엔 광장을 둘러보고 BMW 박물관을 구경할 예정입니다.

Our plan for today is visit the Marienplatz and BMW museum.

Marienplatz and the Neues Rathaus/마리엔 광장과 신 시청사

마리엔 광장은 도시가 설립 된 이래 뮌헨의 중앙 광장이었습니다. 이 광장은 중세 마상 토너먼트 장소였고 1807 년까지 시장이 열렸습니다. 광장의 한면 전체를 채우는 거대한 신 시청사 외에도 한 쪽 끝에 입구를 형성하는 구 시청사가 있습니다. 그리고 이 큰 광장에 있는 1638 년에 건립 된 성모 마리아를 기리는 높은 탑과 어류분수를 상점과 레스토랑들이 둘러싸고 있습니다.

Marienplatz has been Munich's central square since the city's foundation. It was the site of medieval jousting tournaments and until 1807, it was where markets were held. Neues Rathaus (New City Hall) fills one entire side of the square while Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) forms a gate at the far end. The Mariensäule, a tall column to the Virgin Mary erected in 1638, and the Fischbrunnen (Fish’s Fountain) in the large square are surrounded with stores and restaurants.

마리엔 광장에서 가장 사랑받는 전통 중 하나이며 꼭 보아야할 것은 글로켄슈필 입니다. 3 월부터 10 월까지 매일 오전 11시, 정오, 그리고 오후 5시에 신 시청사 앞면에 있는 기계 인형들이 만찬을 나누고, 마창 시합을 하며 춤을 춥니다.

One of the city's best-loved traditions is to watch the famous Glockenspiel on the front of the Neues Rathaus, as its mechanical figures dine, joust, and dance. It performs at 11am, noon, and 5pm daily from March through October.

저희들은 들리지 않았지만 마리엔 광장 동쪽 끝에 있는 구청사 옆에 있는 곰인형 박물관

We did not visit, but Teddy Bear museum is located next to the Altes Rathaus on the east side of Marienplatz.

Juliet Capulet Statue (줄리엣 동상)

마리엔 광장 동쪽 끝에 있는 구청사 옆에 있는 청동으로 만들어진 세익스피어의 줄리엣 동상입니다. 이 동상은 베노라 시에 있는 원상의 사본인데 1974년 베노라 시가 우정의 선물로 기증한 것입니다. 오른쪽 가슴이 더욱 반짝이는 것을 보실텐데 이것은 여러 해 동안 많은 사람들이 행운을 바라고 만졌기 때문입니다.

Juliet Capulet Statue/줄리엣 동상

The bronze statue of Shakespeare’s Juliet Capulet is located beside the Altes Rathaus on the east side of Marienplatz. This is a replica of an original statue in Venora and was a gift of friendship given by the city of Verona to Munich in 1974. Notice the right breast being rather shiny, the result of being rubbed by thousands of people over the year, in hopes of good luck.

Viktualienmarkt

Viktualienmarkt는 원래의 농산물 시장이었는데 미식가를위한 인기있는 쇼핑 지역으로 발전했고 여행객들에게 큰 인기가 있게 되었습니다. 여러가지 음식들과 마실 것들을 맛 볼수 있고, 꽃 등 여러가지 물건들을 구입할 수 있습니다. 조심할 것은 관광객들이 많이 모이는 곳이니 가격이 좀 센 편입니다.

The Viktualienmarkt developed from an original farmers' market to a popular market for gourmets and it became a tourist magnet. There are a lot of booths where you can try various foods and drinks and you can buy flowers and a lot of other items.But be aware that most items here aren't exactly cheap at all since it is a tourist place.

BMW Museum (BMW 박물관)

올림픽 공원에 있는 BMW의 높은 본사 건물과 공장 옆에는 금속으로 쒸어진 둥근 현대식 건물의 BMW 박물관이 있습니다. 여기에서 자동차 팬들은 스포츠카, 레이싱 모델 및 오토바이를 포함하여 회사가 만든 거의 모든 모델의 차들을 만날 수 있습니다. 현재 모델 차들을 볼 수 있고, 현대 자동차 건설 기술에 대해 배울 수있을뿐만 아니라 회사가 탐구하고있는 미래 추진 기술과 디자인을 엿볼 수 있습니다. 자동차가 단지 A 지점에서 B 지점으로 이동하기위한 것이라고 생각하는 사람들은 들릴 필요가 없겠지만 정말 자동차 팬에게는 필수입니다.

Next to BMW's soaring headquarters and factories at the Olympic Park is a round contemporary building with a metal shell, housing BMW's museum. Here, car fans will find examples of nearly all the models the company has made, including sports cars, racing models, and motorcycles. You can see current models and learn about the technology of modern automobile construction, as well as get glimpses of future propulsion technologies and designs the company is exploring. Those who think cars are just for getting from point A to point B might want to skip this one, but for fans of things automotive, it's a must.
