The lighthouse is located in the Cape Lookout National Seashore on South Core Banks Island. It was built in 1859 as the state's first tall coastal light and it is 163 ft tall.

There is a wooden walkway that takes you from the dock to the lighthouse and on to the Atlantic side of the island. The lighthouse was not open when we visited, but it provided a good photo opportunity. The beach was beautiful and unspoiled with small crowed. If you like walking the beach without the crowd, you will enjoy the visit.

이 외따른 해변가를 가실 예정이시면 물, 음식 그리고 필요한 것들을 준비해 가지고 가세요. 단 모든 쓰레기는 전부 가지고 나와야합니다. 선창장 근처에는 방문객 센터, 선물 가게, 그리고 깨끗한 화장실이 있습니다.
You can only get to the Cape Lookout by 20 minutes ferry ride ($17/adult, $10/children under 11) from Harkers Island. On the day we visited, there was a little head wind, but the boat ride was enjoyable.

Emerald Isle
Emerald Isle is a 29-mile stretch of island on the lower Outer Banks. It has houses along the beach, but no high rises or amusements. The beaches was clean, but was not crowded as much as we expected. It was voted the best beach in North Carolina in 2018 by USA Today readers.
에멀럴드 섬은 바깥 둑 (Outer Banks) 47 Km의 해안을 말합니다. 해변가를 따라 집들이 있지만 고층 건물이나 오락 시설등은 없습니다. 그러나 부두에서 낚시하는 사람들, 모래사장에서 그림을 그리며 즐기는 가족들의 모습이 아름답군요. 바닷가 해변은 깨끗했고 생각보다 사람들이 적었습니다. 2018년에 USA 투데이 독자들에 의해 노스 카롤라이나 최고의 해변으로 뽑혔습니다.

It is a small fish market, but you could buy the fresh seafoods that they catch on that day. They clean and cut them per your request. It has been a long time we had so much fresh seafoods so cheap, i.e. Grouper ($17.95/lb). We recommend the place if you want to taste the fresh seafoods.

Ribeyes Steakhouse

For lunch, we tried Lunch pick ($8.99), Grilled Atlantic Salmon ($11.99) Petite Ribeye ($13.99) with additional $4.00 for the salad bar. The lunch pick is to choose two among six items including Salad Bar. The salad bar was fresh and reasonable. Salmom was good , but the steak could have been better especially when your name has "ribeye" in it. With a little effort, they could make the dishes more appetizing.
점심으로 점심 스페셜 (8불 99전), 구은 대서양 연어(11불 99전) 와 작은 꽃등심 스테이크 (13불 99전)을 먹었습니다. 5불에 살라드를 첨가 할 수 있습니다. 점심 스페셜은 샐러드 바를 포함한 6 가지 중에서 2 가지를 고를 수 있습니다. 샐러드 바에 있는 음식들은 신선했고 맛도 괜찮았습니다. 연어 음식은 좋았는데 "꽃등심"을 가게 이름에 달 정도면 스테이크는 좀 더 향상 시켜야 할 것 같읍니다. 그리고 조금만 노력하면 음식이 보기에도 먹을만하게 할 수 있지 않을까 하네요.
The place has more of pub and restaurant environment than the family restaurant. There were only few customers, and the server was very attentive. You may try it.
이곳은 가족적 식당보다는 술집/식당 분위기를 주네요. 저희가 들렸을 때는 손님들이 별로 없었지만 종업원들은 친절했습니다.
